WEEKLY MEDITATION 22-28 MAY 2023

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word and will into our lives. Father, we thank you for your peace and comfort in these challenging times. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Father, please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you. Lord, we know that you are still in control and will use these challenging times for your goodin Jesus’ name, we pray.

“If someone does wrong to you, do not pay him back by doing wrong to him. Try to do what everyone thinks is right. Do your best to live in peace with everyone” (Romans 12:17-18)

“They are blessed who work for peace, for they will be called God’s children” (Matthew 5:9)

“Agree with each other, and live in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you” (2 Corinthians 13:11)

“Correct your children, and you will be proud; they will give you satisfaction” (Proverbs 29:17)

“Fathers, do not make your children angry, but raise them with the training and teaching of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4)

“Know and believe today that the Lord is God. He is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other god! Obey his laws and commands that I am giving you today so that things will go well for you and your children. Then you will live a long time in the land that the Lord your God is giving to you forever” (Deuteronomy 4:39-40)

Thank you Lord for redeeming us, taking our sins upon you, giving us a new life and new hope through your death and resurrectionin your name… Jesus, the name above all names, we pray and give thanks.

Father, as this year comes to an end, we ask for your continued blessing, guidance, health, protection, and love as we enter a new year. We ask that Your will be done here on Earth. We ask for your peace…in our lives and the world. We ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times and help us cling to you through your word and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you. We know you are in control and will use these challenging times for your good. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. In Jesus name, we pray.
