WEEKLY MEDITATION 26 AUGUST – 1 SEPTEMBER 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“I have no one in heaven but you: I want nothing on earth besides you. My body and my mind may become weak, but God is my strength. He is mine forever” (Psalm 73:25-26)

“There are many rooms in my Father’s house; I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am” (John 14:2-3)

“No one has ever seen this, and no one has ever heard about it. No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 19-25 AUGUST 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31)

“Having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. For this end, we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially those who believe. (1 Timothy 4:8-10)

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 12-18 AUGUST 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“So we do not give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day. We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles. We set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see. What we see will last only a short time, but what we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:15-18)

“In keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:13)

“No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.” (Revelation 22:3)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 5-11 AUGUST 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. We also ask for a special blessing for those hurting this week with the tragedies in El Paso Texas and Dayton Ohio.  Help us to remember that you are still in control and will never forsake us. Evil cannot prevail.

– Amen

“Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue me from their destructions, my precious life from the lions. I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise you among many people. (Psalm 35:17-18)

“The Lord is my light and the one who saves me. So why should I fear anyone? The Lord protects my life. So why should I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

“The mountains may disappear, and the hills may come to an end, but my love will never disappear; my promise of peace will not come to an end” (Isaiah 54:10)
