WEEKLY MEDITATION 27 NOVEMEBER-3 DECEMBER 2017

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.” (Ephesians 6:7)

“Keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord” (Romans (12:11)

“Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?” (James 2:15-16)

“Acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever” (1 Chronicles 28:9)

“Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you… I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, Don’t be afraid. I will help you” (Isaiah 41:10)

“When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Instead, be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves. Do not be interested only in your own life, but be interested in the lives of others. IN your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:3-5)

“If I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash each other’s feet. I did this as an example so that you should do as I have done for you” (John 13:14-15)
