Weekly Meditation 26-1 June 2014

As you begin this week, we ask that you think about the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“But if any of you need wisdom, you should ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to all people, so he will you wisdom” (James 1:5)

“But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all wrongs we have done” (1 John 1:9)

“But in all these things we have full victory through God who showed his love for us” (Romans 8:37)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 19-25 MAY 2014

As you begin this week, we ask that you think about the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard, and all need to be made right with God by his grace. which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ” (Romans 3:23-34)

If anyone does sin, we have a helper in the presence of the Father – Jesus Christ, the One who does what is right. He died in our place to take away our sins, and not only our sins but the sins of all people” (1 John2:1-2)

“God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him. People who believe in God’s Son are not judged guilty…. Those who believe in the Son have eternal life, but those who do not obey the Son will never have life. God’s anger stays on them” (John 3:17-18, 36)

“He is strong and can help you not to fall. He can bring you before his glory without any wrong in you and can give you great joy” (Jude 24)

“But the Lord is faithful and will give you strength and will protect you from the Evil One” (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

“Now we hope for blessings God has for his children. These blessings, which cannot be destroyed or be spoiled or lose their beauty, are kept in heaven for you. God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time” (1 Peter 1:4-5)

“We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

“My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.” (James 1:2-3)
 “Those people who keep their faith until the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:22)
