Month: February 2020

WEEKLY MEDITATION 24 FEBRUARY – 1 MARCH 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears what I say and believes in the ONe who sent me has eternal life. That person will not be judged guilty but has already left death and entered life” (John 5:24)

“I tell you the truth, whoever believes has eternal life” (John 6:47)

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know then, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never die, and no one can steal them out of my hand. My Father gave my sheep to me. He is greater than all, and no person can steal my sheep out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:27029)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 17 -23 FEBRUARY 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“God’s word is alive and working and is sharper than a double-edged sword. It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined, to the center of our joints and bones. And it judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts” (Hebrews 4:12)

“The truly happy people are those who carefully study God’s perfect law that makes people free, and they continue to study it. They do not forget what they heard, but they obey what God’s teaching says. Those who do this will be made happy” (James 1:25)

“As newborn babies want milk, you should want the pure and simple teaching. By it, you can mature in your salvation because you have already examined and seen how good the Lod is” (1 Peter 2:2-3)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 10-16 FEBRUARY 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“Think only about the things in heaven, not the things on earth. Your old sinful self has died, and your new life is kept with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:2-3)

“You should know that loving the world is the same as hating God. Anyone who wants to be a friend of the world becomes God’s enemy” (James 4:4)

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you. These are the ways of the world: wanting to please our sinful selves, wanting the sinful things we see, and being too proud of what we have. None of these come from the Father, but all of them come from the world. The world and everything that people want in it, are passing away, but the person who does what God wants lives forever” (1 John 2:15-17)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 3-9 FEBRUARY 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“Respect the Lord your God. You must worship him and make your promises only in his name. Do not worship other gods as the people around you do, because the Lord your God is a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 6:13-15)

“Say to God, “Your works are amazing! Because your power is great, your enemies fall before you. All the earth worships you and sings praises to you. They sing praises to your name” (Psalm 66:3-4)

“The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, and that time is here already. You see, the Father too is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24)
