WEEKLY MEDITATION 26-31 January 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“LORD, answer me because your love is so good. Because of your great kindness, turn to me. Do not hide from me, your servant. I am in trouble. Hurry to help me! Come near and save me; rescue me from my enemies” (Psalm 69:16-18)

“I love the LORD, because he listens to my prayers for help. He paid attention to me, so I will call to him for help as long as I live” (Psalm 116:1-2)

“I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me! (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 19 – 25 JANUARY 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

” So God raised him to the highest place. God made his name greater than every other name so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus—-everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father” (Philippians 3:9-23)

“We do not live or die for ourselves. If we live, we are living for the Lord and if we die, we are dying for the Lord. So living or dying, we belong to the Lord” (Romans 14:7-8)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6: 23)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 12-18 JANUARY 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“Give your worries to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will never let good people down” (Psalm 55:22)

“But the Lord said to me, “My Grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you”….For this reason I am happy when I have weaknesses, insults, hard times, sufferings, and all kinds of troubles for Christ. Because when I am weak, then I am truly strong” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

“Since Christ suffered while he was in his body, strengthen yourselves with the same way of thinking Christ had….Strengthen yourselves so that you will live here on earth doing what God wants, not the evil people want” (2 Peter 4:1-2)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 5-11 JANUARY 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“Faith means being sure of the things we hope for an knowing that something is real even if we do not see it….it is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God’s command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen….without faith no one can please God. Any who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him.” (Hebrews 11:1,3,6)

“The Good News shows how God makes people right with himself-that it begins and ends with faith. As the Scripture says, “but those who are right with God will live by trusting in him” “. (Romans 1:17)

“We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed….So we do not give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day. We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles. We set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 16-18)
