WEEKLY MEDIATION 26 NOVEMBER – 2 DECEMBER 2018

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer, and God will give them to you. When you are praying, if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins” (Mark 11:24-25)

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek me and stop their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“The Lord sees the good people and listens to their prayers. But the Lord is against those who do evil; he makes the world forget them” (Psalm 34:15-16)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 19-25 NOVEMBER 2018

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving here in the U.S, we wanted to share prayers of thanks for God’s blessings with you.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34)

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

“Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (Psalm 107:8-9)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 12-18 NOVEMBER 2018

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don’t hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will the good things you do and will your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-16)

“This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God. We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection” (Ephesians)

“Anyone who speaks should speak words from God. Anyone who serves should serve with the strength God gives so that in everything God will be praised through Jesus Christ. Power and glory belongs to him forever and ever” (1 Peter 4:11)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 5-11 NOVEMBER 2018

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“A wise person will understand what to do, but a foolish person is dishonest. Fools don’t care if they sin, but honest people work at being right” (Proverbs 14:8-9)

“If people please God, God will give them wisdom, knowledge, and joy. But sinners will get only the work of gathering and storing wealth that they will have to give to the ones who please God. So all their work is useless, like chasing the wind” (Ecclesiastes 2:26)

“Dear friends, you are like foreigners and strangers in this world. I beg you to avoid the evil things your bodies want to do that fight against your soul” (1 Peter 2:11)
