WEEKLY MEDITATION 30 MARCH – 5 APRIL 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times. We ask that you heal and help those in need and who are ill. In Jesus’ name…

– Amen

“Jesus will keep you strong until the end so that there will be no wrong in you on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful” (1 Corinthians 1:8-9)

“If God is with us, no one can defeat us. He did not spare his own Son but gave him for us all. So with Jesus, God will surely give us all things. Who can accuse the people God has chosen? No one, because God is the One who makes them right” (Romans 8:31-33)

“The Lord’s love never ends; his mercies never stop. They are new every morning; Lord, your loyalty is great. I say to myself, “The Lord is mine, so I hope in him” The Lord is good to those who hope in him, to those who seek him” (Lamentations 3:22-25)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 16-22 MARCH 2020

During these challenging times across the globe, it is important to remember that we serve a loving God and he is still in control. Panic and fear are far more dangerous AND contagious than any virus.

It’s important to also remember that we serve a God of love and compassion. NOT a god of confusion and fear. Pray, have faith in the Lord, and wash your hands. We will all get through this challenging time. Check-in on those who may be lonely or need help. Look for ways to help those most vulnerable and in need.  May this prayer and meditation bring you peace, comfort and a renewed focus on the Lord.
