WEEKLY MEDITATION 31 JULY – 6 AUGUST 2017

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth” (Psalm 145:18)

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John14:6)

“When he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (John16:13)

“Without faith, no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him” (Hebrews 11:6)

“And this is the boldness we have in God’s presence: that if we ask God for anything that agrees with what he wants, he hears us. If we know he hears us everytime we ask him, we know we have what we asked of him” (1 John5:14-15)
