WEEKLY MEDITATION 1-7 NOVEMBER 2021

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times and help us cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. We know you are still in control and will use these difficult times for your good. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. In Jesus’ name…

“Correct your children, and you will be proud; they will give you satisfaction” (Proverbs 29:17)

“All your children will be taught by the Lord, and they will have much peace” (Isaiah 54:13)

“Fathers, do not make your children angry but raise them with training and teaching of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4)

Know and believe today that the Lord is God. He is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other god! Obey his laws and commands that I am giving you today so that things will go well for you and your children. Then you will live a long time in the land that the Lord your God is giving to you forever” (Deuteronomy 4:39-40)

“Resect the Lord your God. you must worship him and make your promises only in his name. Do not worship other gods as the people around you do, because the Lord your God is a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 6:13-15)

“Say to God, “Your works are amazing! Because your power is great, your enemies fall before you. All the earth worships you and sings praises to you. They sing praises to your name” (Psalm 66:3-4)

“The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the spirit and truth, and that time is here already. You see, the Father too is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24)

“Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling” (1 Peter 4:9)

“Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality” (Romans 12:13)

“If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward” (Matthew 10:42)

The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes” (Deuteronomy 1:30)

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)

” Some trust in chariots, others in horses, be we trust the Lord our God. They are overwhelmed and defeated, but we march forward and win.” (Psalm 20:7-8)

“I will always sing about the Lord’s love; I will tell of his loyalty from now on. I will say, “Your love continues forever; your loyalty goes on and on like the sky” (1 Corinthians 1:8-9)

“So know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God. He will keep his agreement of love for a thousand lifetimes for people who love him and obey his commands” (1 Corinthians 1:8-9)

“Jesus will keep you strong until the end so that there will be no wrong in you, on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God, who has you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful” (1 Corinthians 1:8-9)
