WEEKLY MEDITATION 24-30 NOVEMBER 2014

As you begin this week of  Thanksgiving in the United States, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord. We have much to be thankful for.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34)

“Sine we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe” (Hebrews 12:28)

“Give thanks in all circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians¬†5:181)

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (Psalm 107:8-9)

“Be Kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32)

“As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, Kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (Colossians 3:12)

“Love is patient, love is Kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud” (1 Corinthians 13:4)

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

“If you love me, you will obey my commands. Those who know my commands and obey them are the ones who love me, and my Father will love those who love me. I will love them and will show myself to them” (John 14:15, 21)

“The most important command is this…Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all you mind, and all your strength” (Mark 12:29-30)

“We love because God first loved us…Those who do not love their brothers and sisters, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they never seen. And God gave us this command: Those who love God must also love their brothers and sisters” (1 John 4:19-21)
