WEEKLY MEDITATION 25 -31 MAY 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your guidance and will into our lives for your glory.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for me” (Colossians 3:25)

“Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more.” (1 Thessalonians 4:1)

“Walk in all the way that the Lord you God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess” (Deuteronomy 5:33)

“We pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and my please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10)

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32)

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, Knowledge: and to Knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly Kindness: and to brotherly Kindness, love.” (2 Peter 1:5-7)

” Love is patient, love is Kind. It doesn’t not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud” (1 Corinthians 13:4)
