“For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him” (Matthew 6:8)

“Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever, Who executes justice for the oppressed, who give food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners” (Psalm 146:5-7)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 22-28 JULY 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, – whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free – and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For, in fact, the body is not one member but many” (1 Corinthians 12:12-14)

“All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him, all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:16-18)

“Speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ – from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love” (Ephesians 4:15-16)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 15-21 JULY 2018

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

“If God were to withdraw his Spirit, all life would disappear and mankind would turn again to dust” (Job 34:14-15)

“When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you” (John 16:13-15)

“When you heard the true teaching the Good News about your salvation-you believed in Christ. And in Christ, God put his special mark of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit that he had promised” (Ephesians 1:13)

“And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorry and sighing shall flee away” (Isaiah 35:10)

“Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:87-9)

We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles. we set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see. What we see will last only a short time, but what we cannot see will last forever” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
