Holy Week

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“Jesus said to Martha, ” I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will have life even if they die. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26)

“But Christ has truly been raised from the dead-the first one and proof that those who sleep in death will also be raised” (1 Corinthians 15:20)

“God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, and we know that God will also raise us with Jesus. God will bring us together with you, and we will stand before him” (2 Corinthians 4:14)

“We believe that Jesus died and that he rose again. So, because of him, God will raise with Jesus those who have died” (1 Thessalonians 4:14)

Cross 11

“He is not here, he has risen” (Luke 24:6)

“Jesus said to her, I am (Myself) the Resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live; And whoever continues to live and believes in(has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on) Me shall never die at all.  Do you believe this? (John 11:25-26 AMPC)

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“When the Lord All-Powerful makes a plan, no one can stop it” (Isaiah 14:27)

“My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are not like my ways. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. So you will go out with joy and be led out in peace” (Isaiah 55:18,12)

“Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you…I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand, and I will tell you, “Don’t be afraid. I will help you” (Isaiah 41:10)

Good Friday Thoughts

CrossAs we begin this Easter weekend starting with today’s Good Friday, we wanted to share some scripture to help you remember God’s deep and all encompassing love for you.

From all of us at Sola Fide Ministries, may you and your family have a blessed Easter weekend.

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” (Ephesians 1:7)

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:13-14)

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. (Hebrews 9:12)

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree” (Galatians 3:13)

Pray for the Persecuted

“For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off” (Psalm 37:28)

During this Holy week we ask that you pray for the persecuted Christian. From the U.S. to Kenya. From China to Cuba. From Russia to Libya. The are many types of persecution. From the soft persecution of Christians in the United States to horrific persecution of Christians in the Middle East, North Korea and more.

As you celebrate the magnificent resurrection or our Lord this week, please pray for those who are still suffering for their love of the Lord.

God Bless
