WEEKLY MEDITATION 27 FEBRUARY -7

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced…..

“Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28)

“Come, let us talk about these things. Though your sins are like scarlet, they can be as white as snow. Though your sins are deep red, they can be white like wool” (Isaiah 1:18)

” Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from that persons’s heart” (John7:17-38)

Pray for the Persecuted

“For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off” (Psalm 37:28)

During this Holy week we ask that you pray for the persecuted Christian. From the U.S. to Kenya. From China to Cuba. From Russia to Libya. The are many types of persecution. From the soft persecution of Christians in the United States to horrific persecution of Christians in the Middle East, North Korea and more.

As you celebrate the magnificent resurrection or our Lord this week, please pray for those who are still suffering for their love of the Lord.

God Bless

“I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going to the Father” (John16:28)

“This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms” (Luke 24:44)
