WEEKLY MEDITATION 27 APRIL -2 May 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion” (Psalm 116:5)

“From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another” (John 1:16)

“He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (Peter 5:10)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 2 – 8 FEB 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“Respect the Lord your God. You must worship him and make your promises only in his name. Do not worship other gods as people around you do, because the Lord your God is a jealous God.” (Deuteronomy 6:13-15)

Say to God, “Your works are amazing! Because your power is great, your enemies fall before you. All the earth worship you and sings praises to you. They sing praises to your name” (Psalm 66:3-4)

“The Time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, and that time is here already. You see, the Father too is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 22-28 DECEMBER 2014

During this Advent season, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures, how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)

“Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2:13)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1 John 4:10)

As you begin this week, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“If you love me, you will obey my commands. Those who know my commands and obey them are the ones who love me, and my Father will love those who love me. I will love them and will show myself to them” (John 14:15, 21)

“The most important command is this…Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all you mind, and all your strength” (Mark 12:29-30)

“We love because God first loved us…Those who do not love their brothers and sisters, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they never seen. And God gave us this command: Those who love God must also love their brothers and sisters” (1 John 4:19-21)

“But if any of you needs wisdom, you should ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to all people, so he will give you wisdom” (James 3:5)

“But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done” (1 John1:9)

“But in all things we have full victory through God who showed his love for us” (Romans 8:17)

“God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He love you. So always do these things: Show mercy to others, be kind, be humble, be gentle, and patient. Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:12-13)

“Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Chris” (Ephesians 4:32)

As you begin this week, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer, and God will give them to you. When you are praying, if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins” (Mark 11:24-25)

“If my people, who are called by my name, are sorry for what they have done, if they pray and obey me and stop their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“The Lord sees the good people and listens to their prayers. But the Lord is against those who do evil; he makes the world forget them” (Psalm 34:15-16)

As you begin this week, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“My brothers and sisters, God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases your sinful self. Serve each other with love. The whole law is made complete in this one command. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself” (Galatians 5:13-14)

“Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24)

“In the same way, younger people should be willing to be under older people. And all of you should be very humble with each other. God is against the proud, but he gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5)

“When a believing person prays, great things happen” (James 5:15)

“With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20)
