Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James 4:10)

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry” (Psalm 34:15)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14)

The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes” (Deuteronomy 1:30)

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)

” Some trust in chariots, others in horses, be we trust the Lord our God. They are overwhelmed and defeated, but we march forward and win.” (Psalm 20:7-8)

“But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law to redeem those under the law, then we might receive adoption to sonship” (Galatians 4:4-5)

“Am I a God near at hand”, says the Lord, “and not a God afar off”? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord” – (Jeremiah 23:23-24)

” I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you. In a little while, the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. You will live because I live. On that day you will know that I am in my Father and you are in me and that I am in you” (John 14:18-20)

“You alone are the Lord; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them, and You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You. (Nehemiah 9:6)

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance” (Romans 5:3)

“For the light in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man…So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him” (Matthew 24:38-39,44)

“He is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf” (Hebrews 7:25)
