WEEKLY MEDITATION 29 JUNE -5 JULY 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your guidance and will into our lives for your glory.

“Rejoice that your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20)

“Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 21:4)

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4)

“For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help” (Psalm 72:12)

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion” (Psalm 116:5)

“From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another” (John 1:16)

“He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (Peter 5:10)

This Is What Is Written

“This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luke 24:46-47)

“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life” (John 3:14-16)

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live” (John 14:18-19)

“I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going to the Father” (John16:28)

“This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms” (Luke 24:44)

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“My brothers and sisters, God called you to be free, but do not use your freedom as an excuse to what pleases your sinful self. Serve each other with love. The whole law is made complete in this one command: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself” (Galatians 5:13-14)

“Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deed” (Hebrews 10:24)

“In the same way, younger people should be willing to be under older people. And all of you should be very humble with each other. God is against the proud, but he gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5)

“Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you. I will carry you and save you” (Isaiah 46-4)

“I was young, and now I am old, but I have never seen good people left helpless or their children begging for food” (Psalm 37:25)

God, you have taught me since I was young. To this day I tell about the miracles you do. Even though I am old and gray, do not leave me, God. I will tell the children about your power; I will tell those who live after me about your might.” (Psalm 71:17-18)

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12)

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9)

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 2 – 8 FEB 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“Respect the Lord your God. You must worship him and make your promises only in his name. Do not worship other gods as people around you do, because the Lord your God is a jealous God.” (Deuteronomy 6:13-15)

Say to God, “Your works are amazing! Because your power is great, your enemies fall before you. All the earth worship you and sings praises to you. They sing praises to your name” (Psalm 66:3-4)

“The Time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, and that time is here already. You see, the Father too is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24)

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“LORD, answer me because your love is so good. Because of your great kindness, turn to me. Do not hide from me, your servant. I am in trouble. Hurry to help me! Come near and save me; rescue me from my enemies” (Psalm 69:16-18)

“I love the LORD, because he listens to my prayers for help. He paid attention to me, so I will call to him for help as long as I live” (Psalm 116:1-2)

“I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me! (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

” So God raised him to the highest place. God made his name greater than every other name so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus—-everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father” (Philippians 3:9-23)

“We do not live or die for ourselves. If we live, we are living for the Lord and if we die, we are dying for the Lord. So living or dying, we belong to the Lord” (Romans 14:7-8)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6: 23)
