WEEKLY MEDITATION 9 – 15 NOVEMEBER 2015

As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your guidance and will into our lives for your glory.

Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced…..

“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters” (Psalm 18:16)

“They cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress” (Psalm 107:6)

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4)

“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens” (Psalm 68:19)

“The teachings of the Lord are perfect; they give new strength. The rules of the Lord can be trusted; they make plain people wise….The judgements of the Lord are true; they are completely right” (Psalm 19:7,9)

“How I love your teachings! I think about them all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, because they are mine forever….Your words are true from the start, and all your laws will be fair forever (Psalm 119:97-98, 160)

“We also know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we can know the True One. And our lives are in the True One and in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and the eternal life.” (1 John 5:20)

“So know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God. He will keep his agreement of love for a thousand lifetimes for people who love him and obey his commands” (Deuteronomy 7:9)

“Jesus will keep you strong until the end so that there will be no wrong in you on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful” (1 Corinthians 1:8-9)

 “I love the Lord, because he listens to my prayers for help. He paid attention to me, so I will call to him for help as long as I live” (Psalm 116:1-2)

“I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me!” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

“God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. God did not send his son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him” (John 3:16-17)

“If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9)

“We have seen and can testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world” (1 John 4:14)

“The ways of God are without fault. The Lord’s words are pure. He is a shield to those who trust him. Who is God? Only the Lord. Who is the Rock? Only our God. (Psalm 18:30-31)
