Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. As we prepare for Easter, we ask that you help us remember your victory over death, and thus our victory through you. Through your death on the cross and resurrection on the third day, we can be confident in our salvation through you. Jesus, we are so grateful for your love, sacrifice and taking of our sins. May this holy week help you remind you or even rediscover the amazing victory of Jesus over the tomb and for the people of the promise, our assured forgiveness of our sins which was bought with his Love and sacrifice.
