WEEKLY MEDITATION 6-12 MAY 2024

Jesus, we thank you for coming into our world as the light and to be. We ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word into our daily lives. Jesus, we thank you for your peace and comfort. Your wisdom, guidance, grace, and forgiveness. Your provision and healing. You are our rock and salvation. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you…in Jesus’ name, we pray.

“Remember to keep the Sabbath holy. Work and get everything done during the six days each week, but the seventh day is a day of rest to honor the Lord your God. On that day no one may do any work…The reason is that in six days the Lord made everything-the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in the,. On the seventh day, he rested. So the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy” (Exodus 20: 8-11)

“God will do what is right. He will give trouble to those who trouble you. And he will give rest to you who are troubled” (2 Thessalonians 1:6-7)

“We who have believed are able to enter and have God’s rest” (Hebrews 4:3)

As we approach Easter and your resurrection, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word into our daily lives. We remember and accept your sacrifice for our sins. Jesus, we thank you for your peace and comfort. Your wisdom, guidance, grace, and forgiveness. Your provision and healing. You are our rock and salvation. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you…in Jesus’ name, we pray.

“No king is saved by his great army. No warrior escapes by his great strength…But the Lord looks after those who fear him, those who put their hope in his love. He saves them from death and spares their lives in times of hunger. So our hope is in the Lord. He is our help, our shield to protect us” (Psalm 33:16, 18-20)

Father, we thank you for your peace and comfort. Your wisdom and forgiveness. Your provision and healing. You are our rock and salvation. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit.
