God’s Plan

WEEKLY MEDITATION 30 DECEMBER 2024 -5 JANUARY 2024

We thank you Jesus for coming into our world as the light and the way. We ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word into our daily lives. Jesus, we thank you for your peace and comfort. Your wisdom, guidance, grace, and forgiveness. Your provision, blessings, and healing. You are our rock and salvation. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for youin Jesus’ name, we pray.

“The Lord says, “My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are not like my way. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” “ (Isaiah 55: 8-9)

“Don’t worry and say, “What will we eat?” or “What will we drink?” or “What will we wear? The people who don’t know God keep trying to get these things, and your Father in heaven knows you need them. Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well.” (Matthew 6: 31-33)

“If we are not faithful, he will still be faithful, because he must be true who he is…God’s strong foundation continues to stand. These words are written on the seal: “The Lord knows those who belong to him,” and “Everyone who wants to belong to the Lord must stop doing wrong” (2 Timothy 2:13, 19)

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word into our daily lives. Father, we thank you for your peace and comfort. Your wisdom and forgiveness. Your provision and healing. You are our rock and salvation. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. “I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I always do. Forgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead, I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above” (Philippians 3:13-14)

Father, we thank you for your peace and comfort in these challenging times. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Father, please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for youin Jesus’ name, we pray.

“May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed” (Psalm 20:4)

“Not by my might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty (Zechariah 4:6)

“His delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers” (Psalm 1:2-4)

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace, your peace, comfort us in these challenging times, and help us cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you. Lord, we know you are still in control and will use these challenging times for your goodin Jesus’ name, we pray.

“The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast” (1 Peter 5:10)

“Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:1-4)

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times. We ask that you heal and help those in need and who are ill. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. In Jesus’ name…

“When the Lord All-Powerful makes a plan, no one can stop it” (Isaiah 14:27)

“My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are not like my ways. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. So you will go out with joy and be led out in peace” (Isaiah 55:8,12)

“Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you… I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, Don’t be afraid. I will help you” (Isaiah 41:10)
