WEEKLY MEDITATION 31 MAY-6 JUNE 2023

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word and will into our lives. Father, we thank you for your peace and comfort in these challenging times. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Father, please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you. Lord, we know that you are still in control and will use these challenging times for your goodin Jesus’ name, we pray.

“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:12-13)

“I shall pay my vows to the Lord, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.” (Psalm 116: 14-15)

“We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers; constantly bearing in mind your work of faith and labor of love.” ( 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3)

“The Lord is faithful and will give you strength and will protect you from the Evil One.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Now we hope for the blessings God has for his children. These blessings, which cannot be destroyed or be spoiled or lose their beauty, are kept in heaven for you. God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time.” (1 Peter 1:4-5)

“I urge you who have been chosen by God to live up to the life to which God called you. Always be humble, gentle, and patient, accepting each other in love. You are joined together with peace through the Spirit, so make every effort to continue together in this way” (Ephesians 4:1-3)

“Love each other deeply, because love will cause people to forgive each other for many sins. Open your homes to each other, without complaining. Each of you has received a gift to use to serve others. Be good servants of God’s various gifts of grace” (1 Peter 4:8-10)

“Be sure that no one pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to do what is good for each other and for all people (1 Thessalonians 5:15)

Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. We ask for your guidance, love, wisdom, and protection…in Jesus’ name, we pray.

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. As we prepare for Easter, we ask that you help us remember your victory over death, and thus our victory through you. Through your death on the cross and resurrection on the third day, we can be confident in our salvation through you. Jesus, we are so grateful for your love, sacrifice and taking of our sins. In Jesus’ name…

May this holy week help you remind you or even rediscover the amazing victory of Jesus over the tomb and for the people of the promise, our assured forgiveness of our sins which was bought with his Love and sacrifice. May you and your family have a blessed, hopeful, and joyful Easter. He has risen!

“Jesus said to Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will have life even if they die. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26)

“But Chris has truly been raised from the dead–the first one and proof that those who sleep in the death will also be raised” (1 Corinthians 15:20)

“God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, and we know that God will also raise us with Jesus. God will bring us together with you, and we will stand before him” (2 Corinthians 4:14)
