WEEKLY MEDITATION 15-21 APRIL 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

“When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action” (Matthew 18:19)

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry” (Psalm 34:15)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14)

“Am I a God near at hand”, says the Lord, “and not a God afar off”? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord” – (Jeremiah 23:23-24)

” I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you. In a little while, the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. You will live because I live. On that day you will know that I am in my Father and you are in me and that I am in you” (John 14:18-20)

“But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:16-18)

“The Lord your God is with you; the mighty One will save you. He will rejoice over you. You will rest in his love; he will sing and be joyful about you” (Zephaniah 3:17)

“The important thing is obeying God’s commands….You all were bought at a great price, so do not become slaves of people” (1 Corinthians 7:19,23)

“You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand” (Psalm 16:11)

“So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer, and God will give them to you. When you are praying, if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins” (Mark 11:24-25)

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek me and stop their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

“The Lord sees the good people and listens to their prayers. But the Lord is against those who do evil; he makes the world forget them” (Psalm 34:15-16)

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34)

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

“Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (Psalm 107:8-9)

“Come, let’s worship him and bow down. Let’s kneel before the Lord who made us because he is our God and we are the people he takes care of and the sheep that he tends” (Psalm 95:6-7)
