Praising God

WEEKLY MEDITATION

Jesus, we thank you for coming into our world as the light. We ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word into our daily lives. Jesus, we thank you for your peace and comfort. Your wisdom, guidance, grace, and forgiveness. Your provision and healing. You are our rock and salvation. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you…in Jesus’ name, we pray.

“Praise the Lord for the glory of his name; worship the Lord because he is holy” (Psalm 29:2)

“Come let’s worship him and bow down. Let’s kneel before the Lord who made us because he is our God and we are the people he takes care of, the sheep that he tends” (Psalm 95:6-7)

“Praise the Lord! Praise God in his Temple; praise him in his mighty heaven. Praise him for his strength; praise him for his greatness…Let everything that breathes praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150: 1-2,6)

Jesus, we thank you for coming into our world as the light. We ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word into our daily lives. “Respect the Lord your God. You must worship him and make your promises only in his name. Do not worship other gods as the people around you do because the Lord your God is a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 6:13-15)

“Say to God, “Your works are amazing! Because your power is great, your enemies fall before you. All the earth worships you and sings praises to you. They sing praises to your name” (Psalm 66:3-4)

“The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, and that time is here already. You see, the Father too is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24)

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times and help us cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you. We know you are still in control and will use these challenging times for your good. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. We ask for your guidance, love, wisdom, and protection…in Jesus’ name, we pray.

“When the Lord All-Powerful makes a plan, no one can stop it. When the Lord raises his hand to punish people, no one can stop it” (Isaiah 14″27)
