WEEKLY MEDITATION 20-26 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times. We know you are still in control and will use these difficult times for your good. We ask that you heal and help those in need and who are ill. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. In Jesus’ name…

– Amen

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green pastures. He leads me to calm water. He gives me new strength. He leads me on paths that are right for the good of his name” (Psalm 23:1-3)

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep…I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep,  and my sheep know me just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I give my life for the sheep” (John 10:11, 14-15)

“God raised from the dead our Lord Jesus, the Great Sheperd of the sheep, because of the blood of his death. His blood began the eternal agreement that God made with his people” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
