Thessalonians

WEEKLY MEDITATION 8 -14 DECEMBER 2014

During this Advent season, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures, how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men” (Ephesians 6:7)

“Acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with the wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understand every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. (1Chronicles 28:9)

“What ever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” (Colossians 3:23-24)

WEEKLY MEDITATION 24-30 NOVEMBER 2014

As you begin this week of  Thanksgiving in the United States, we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord. We have much to be thankful for.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34)

“Sine we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe” (Hebrews 12:28)

“Give thanks in all circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:181)

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (Psalm 107:8-9)
