WEEKLY MEDITATION 2-8 JULY 2018

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.

– Amen

“Trust the Lord with all your heart, and don’t depend on your own understanding. Remember the Lord in all you do, and he will give you success.” (Proverbs 3 5-6)

“You were taught to leave your old self- to stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self-becomes worse because people are fooled by the evil things they want to do. But you were taught to be made new in your hearts, to become a new person. That new person is made to be like God–made to be truly good and holy” (Ephesians 4:22-24)

“Now that you are obedient children of God do not live as you did in the past. You did not understand, so you did the evil things you wanted. But be holy in all you do, just as God, the One who called you, is holy” (1 Peter 1:14-15)
