God’s Guidance

WEEKLY MEDITATION 22-28 FEBRUARY 2021

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times and help us cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. We know you are still in control and will use these difficult times for your good. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. In Jesus’ name…

– Amen

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green pastures. He leads me to calm water. He gives me new strength. He leads me on paths that are right for the good of his name” (Psalm 23:1-3)

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep…I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep, and my sheep know me just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I give my life for the sheep” (John 10:11, 14-15)

“God raised from the dead our Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, because of the blood of his death. His blood began the eternal agreement that God made with his people” (Hebrews 13:20-21)

END OF YEAR MEDITATION 2019

As we enter a new decade, Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. We ask that you guide us through our lives in the small things and the big. To help us hear your voice, be guided by the Holy Spirit and be more like Jesus in all that we do.

– Amen

“The Lord will always lead you. He will satisfy your needs in dry lands and give strength to your bones. You will be like a garden that has much m=water, like a spring that never runs dry. (Isaiah 58:11)

“People make plans in their minds, but only the Lord can make them come true…Depend on the Lord in whatever you do, and your plans will succeed” (Proverbs 16:1,3)

“Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect” (Romans 12:2)
