Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may understand and incorporate your word and will into our lives. Father, we thank you for your peace and comfort in these challenging times. We cling to you through your word and the presence of the holy spirit. Father, please help us to see your blessings in our lives and give us a spirit of gratitude to you and for you. Lord, we know that you are still in control and will use these challenging times for your good…in Jesus’ name, we pray.
“I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security” (Jeremiah 33:6)
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for the righteousness; by his wounds, you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24)
“The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; if he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:15-16)
