WEEKLY MEDITATION 25-31 MAY 2020

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. Please give us peace and comfort in these difficult times. We ask that you heal and help those in need and who are ill. Forgive us if we interpret your silence as a lack of your love. We know you will answer if we only stay faithful. In Jesus’ name…

– Amen

“Sin came into the world because of what one man did, and with sin came death. This is why everyone must die…because everyone sinned…One man disobeyed God, and many became sinners. In the same way, one man obeyed God, and many will be made right” (Romans 5:12, 19)

“Christ has no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could be right with God” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

“Christ himself suffered for sins once. He was not guilty, but he suffered for those who are guilty to bring you to God. His body was killed, but he was made alive in the spirit” (1 Peter 3:18)
