WEEKLY MEDITATION 5-11 AUGUST 2019

Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory. We also ask for a special blessing for those hurting this week with the tragedies in El Paso Texas and Dayton Ohio.  Help us to remember that you are still in control and will never forsake us. Evil cannot prevail.

– Amen

“Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue me from their destructions, my precious life from the lions. I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise you among many people. (Psalm 35:17-18)

“The Lord is my light and the one who saves me. So why should I fear anyone? The Lord protects my life. So why should I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

“The mountains may disappear, and the hills may come to an end, but my love will never disappear; my promise of peace will not come to an end” (Isaiah 54:10)
