As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.
Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your word and will into our lives for your glory.
– Amen
“Do not fool yourselves. IF you think you are wise in this world, you should become a fool so that you can become truly wise, because the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:18-19)
“Where jealousy and selfishness are, there will be confusion and every kind of evil. But the wisdom that comes from God is first of all pure, then peaceful, gentle, and easy to please. This wisdom is always ready to help those who are troubled and to do good for others. It is always fair and honest” (James 3:16-17)
“All of you should be very humble with each other. “God is against the proud, but he gives grace to the humble”- Proverbs 3:34. Be humble under God’s powerful hand so he will lift you up when the right time comes” (1 Peter 5:5-6)
