As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.
Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your guidance and will into our lives for your glory.
– Amen
Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced…..
“When you pray, you should go into your room and close the door and pray to your Father who cannot be seen. Your Father can see what is done in secret, and he will reward you” (Matthew 6:6)
“If you ask anything in my name, I will do it for you so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:13-14)
“I tell you to pray for all people, asking God for what they need and being thankful to him…I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up their hands in a holy manner” (1 Timothy 2:1,8)
