As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.
Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your guidance and will into our lives for your glory.
– Amen
Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced…..
“He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak. The people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky, they will run and not need rest, they will walk and not become tired” (Isaiah 40:29-31)
“Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives. The teaching that I ask you to accept is easy; the load I give you to carry is light” (Matthew 11:28-30)
“God is our protection and our strength. He always helps in times of trouble. The Lord All-Powerful is with us; the God of Jacob is our defender” (Psalm 46:1-11)
