As you begin this week we ask that you meditate on the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.
Father, we ask that you help us understand your word through guidance of the Holy Spirit, and open our hearts and minds so that we may incorporate your guidance and will into our lives for your glory.
– Amen
Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced…..
“God’s word is alive and working and is sharper than a double edged sword. It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined, to the center of our joint and bones. And it judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts” (Hebrews 4:12)
The truly happy people are those who carefully study God’s perfect law that makes people free, and they continue to study it. They do not forget what they heard but they obey what God’s teaching says. Those who do this will be made happy” (James 1:25)
“As newborn babies want milk, you should want the pure and simple teaching. By it you can mature in your salvation, because you have already examined and seen how good the Lord is” (1 Peter 2:2-3)
