As you begin this week, think about the following scriptures and how they apply to your life and your growing relationship with the Lord.
” Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are vicious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:15-16)
” When you see the abomination that causes desolation; standing where it does not belong – let the reader understand – then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains” (Mark 13-14)
” I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved” (John 10:9) He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites as it is written: ‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’ You have let go of the commands of God ini order to observe your own traditions. Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that” (Mark 7:6-9 and 7-13)
